Whenever you need help

3 simple steps to open your account:

1) Go to the registration page to fill in your email address and password.

2) Once your phone number is approved, go to the "Complete my profile" section to verify your account.
In order to do this, please have your ID and proof of residence ready and follow the instructions. Your documents will be analysed within 24 to 48 working hours.

3) As soon as your documents have been validated, you can credit your Paymium account by making a SEPA deposit from your personal bank account (no minimum amount required).

To generate your Paymium IBAN, please go to the "Deposit" section of your account, select the "Euro" section.
As recipient of your wire, please enter your first and last name.

Once your Paymium account is credited, you will be able to use all our services.


Why do I have to make a transfer in order to use all Paymium services?

There may be several reasons for this situation:

- the loss or malfunctioning of your 2FA, please read this article,

- too many incorrect password attempts, please read this article,

- an unknown reason, please contact us.

You will find below some best practices to maximise the protection of your Paymium account, your mailbox and your crypto-currencies.

1- Please never communicate your Paymium account password.
Paymium will never ask you for it.

2- Your mailbox enables you to validate your outgoing Euro, Bitcoin and other crypto-currencies transfers.
Validation by email is a fundamental security element. Therefore, you should pay attention to the security of your mailbox.

- Use a different password for all your accounts (Paymium, mailbox or others...),
- Use complex and long passwords (more than 8 characters), incorporating capital and small letters, numbers and special signs ($, &, -, !, % etc.) for your mailbox and your Paymium account. You can also use a password manager to generate and store long, complex and unique passwords,
- Install a Two Factor Authentication  (Google Authenticator or Yubikey) on your applications, also called 2FA. On Paymium, you can install it by going to the "Security" tab of your "Profile", once you have logged into your account,
- Install a 2FA on your mailbox,
- Never communicate your passwords and store them offline.

3- Make sure you do not leave any documents in your mailbox (outbox, drafts and trash), especially your identity documents, selfies and proof of residence or income.

4- Generally, we strongly recommend that you do not keep your crypto-currencies on the exchange platforms or just a minimum for your daily transactions.
It is better to store them offline on devices for which you own the private keys.
Make sure you never store your private keys on a device connected to the internet or another network.
If you buy a hardware wallet, make sure you only do so from the supplier's official website.

5- Beware of "phishing": we invite you not to click on links coming from unknown addresses and persons.
Always check the URL (https + domain name) of the site you are connecting to.

6- Your crypto-currency purchases should be personal.
Do not let anyone take control of your various accounts.
Please do not send funds to a third party to invest for you, especially if they create an account in your name.
Only make purchases in cases where you are in control of the entire process.

7- Do not hesitate to encrypt your communications and documents.

Basic Attention Token (BAT), BCIO (BCIO), Bitcoin (BTC), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), DAI (DAI), Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC), Liquid Network Bitcoin (LBTC) and Litecoin (LTC).

A market order is an order to buy or sell without a fixed price condition.
This type of order enables you to buy or sell immediately, based on the liquidity of the platform.

The investor can view the order book to get real-time bid and ask information.

In order to ensure that there is not a significant difference in the buy or sell price, there is a 2% protection on market orders.
It means that your buy/sell market order will not be executed if the price differs by more than 2%.

Bitcoin
Please click on "Transfer", then on "Deposit" and select "Bitcoin".
A Bitcoin address and QR code will be generated and valid for 7 days.
There is no limit to the number of Bitcoin addresses that can be created.

Ethereum/altcoins
Ethereum deposits will be available soon.

Want to provide Bitcoin payment to your customers?

This is possible thanks to the Bitcoin payment button, which is an online bitcoin payment service.
As a business, you can offer your customers the possibility to pay in bitcoins via your website.
You can choose how much of the payment you want to convert (for example, you can convert 70% of each payment received into Euros and keep 30% in Bitcoin).

By accepting payment in crypto-currency, you do not expose yourself to chargeback risks, nor your customer to identity or credit card data theft risks.

Accepting crypto-currency payments with Paymium is secure: your crypto-currencies are kept offline in "cold-storage".

A limit order is a buy or sell order with a determined price condition.

This type of order provides security to the investor, but it may take some time for the order to be executed.

Limit order to buy
If the offered purchase price is too low, there may be no seller who has an offer compatible with your buy order. Your limit order will therefore not be executed immediately. 
In this case, you should wait until the sellers lower their price or modify your order with a higher limit.
If your limit is higher than a seller's offer, the seller's offer will be accepted and your order will be partially or fully executed.
Partial execution occurs if the quantity offered by the seller is less than the quantity specified in your order. It is possible that your order may be executed by combining bids from several sellers.

Limit order to sell
If this price is too high, there may not be a buyer who has a compatible offer for your sell order. Your limit order will therefore not be executed immediately.
In this case, you should wait until the buyers increase their price or modify your order with a lower limit.
If your limit is lower than a buyer's offer, the buyer's offer will be accepted and your order will be partially or fully executed.
Partial execution occurs if the quantity requested by the buyer is less than the quantity specified in your order. Your order may be executed by combining bids from several buyers.

If you are able to log in to your account
Please go to your "Profile" and click on "Security". Finally, click on "Disable" below 2FA.

If you are unable to log in to your account
Please contact us at [email protected], using the email address attached to your Paymium account.

The private keys of your crypto-currency addresses are kept offline in "cold-storage" for maximum security.

Please send the following two documents:

1- A valid ID with an MRZ (Machine Readable Zone),

2- Proof of residence, please find here below the accepted documents:
- a bill (water, energy, landline, mobile or internet supplier) in your name and less than 3 months old,
- the latest tax notices,
- a statement or invoice from the housing insurance company,
- a rent receipt (from a social organisation or estate agency),
- a proof of council tax,
- a statement from the Caf (Caisse d'allocations familiales) mentioning the aid related to the accommodation.

The address (street name, postcode and city) must exactly match your Paymium profile.

Please note that a bank statement is not considered as proof of residence.

Furthermore, a very short liveness video will be required.

You have two possibilities:

1- You can generate an invoice directly from your Paymium account by going to the drop-down menu in your Paymium space and clicking on "Merchant".
Depending on some criteria you have selected (desired conversion Euro vs Bitcoin, information requested from the customer such as email and/or postal address), a line of code will be generated.
You will have to add it in the code of your website page.
Then, you will have a Bitcoin payment button.

2- You can integrate our API and automate the invoice creation process by consulting the API documentation.

Bitcoin
Please click on "Transfer", then on "Withdraw" and select "Bitcoin".
Fill in the amount and the address where you want to receive the Bitcoins.
Once the request is made, check your mailbox (and your spam) to confirm your request by clicking on the link received.

Ethereum/altcoins
Please click on "Transfer", then on "Withdraw" and select "Ethereum".
Fill in the amount and the address where you want to receive the Ethereum.
Once the request is made, check your mailbox (and your spam) to confirm your request by clicking on the link received.

Persons of legal age (over 18 years old), companies and wealth managers can register on Paymium.

Furthermore, Paymium is available in all countries in the world except those listed on this link (temporarily unavailable).

You can hold only one Paymium account per person and only one account per legal entity.

If you do not have proof of residence in your name and you are being hosted, please send the following documents:

- A handwritten and signed statement from the person who is hosting you, stating that you live there,
- A scan of the ID of the person hosting you (front and back),
- A scan of the proof of residence of the person hosting you that is less than 3 months old.

Here are the requirements for the proof of residence:

- The document must be less than 3 months old,
- The document must be :
- a bill (water, energy, landline, mobile or internet supplier) in the name of your host and less than 3 months old,
- the latest tax notices,
- a statement or invoice from the housing insurance company,
- a rent receipt (from a social organisation or estate agency),
- a proof of council tax,
- a statement from the Caf (Caisse d'allocations familiales) mentioning the aid related to the accommodation.

Please note that a bank statement is not considered as proof of residence.

Railsr is also an electronic money institution. It is a major player in payment services and Euro custody. They work with several major players in the crypto-currency industry.

Please log in to your account and go to the drop-down menu of your profile. Click on "Support Tickets" and then on "Create a new ticket".

From your mobile application
Please click on the 4 parallel bars on the top left of the screen section and click on "Support".

A maker order is an order present in the order book that brings liquidity to the market.
The maker order can be executed by matching one or more taker orders that take liquidity from the order book, thus creating the market price.

A maker order must be different from the last market price.

Your Euro funds are held securely by our banking partner in an electronic money account under your name.

A taker order is a buy or sell order that takes liquidity in the order book. It is directly matched with the best price offered.

The taker order differs from the maker order, which brings liquidity to the market because it is not directly executed.
The taker will "match" directly with one or more maker orders.

In some cases, you may not receive our emails in your inbox.

- Proof of residence of the company: we will need an energy or telecom bill in the name of your company and less than 3 months old. If your company is hosted by you, please read this page.
- Certificate of registration of the company (K-bis extract) less than 3 months old,
- Company statutes signed by the legal representatives,
- Proof of activity: latest P&L and balance sheet. Business plans or forecasted balance sheets with the latest bank statement of the company are accepted for the first year of activity,
- List of beneficial owners,
- Bank details in the name of the company,
- If the legal representative is not the Paymium account manager: power of attorney of the legal representative authorising the account manager.

3) As soon as your documents have been validated, you can credit your Paymium account by making a SEPA deposit of the amount of your choice from your company's business bank account.

As the recipient of your transfer, please enter your company's name.
To generate your Paymium IBAN, please go to the "Deposit" section of your account, to the "Euro" section.

Once your transfer has been credited to your Paymium business account, you will be able to use all our services.


Why do I have to make a transfer in order to use all Paymium services?

Withdrawals are executed several times a day, 24/7.
A transfer may take from a few minutes to several hours depending on possible compliance checks.

The price displayed on exchanges corresponds to the price of the last trade made on these platforms. This is why there might be a price difference between different platforms.

The buying and selling prices on the marketplaces are determined by the buyers and sellers. Bitcoin is a decentralized currency which means it has no "official price". These prices may differ from one marketplace to another.

You do not have access to your private keys.

They are kept offline for maximum security.

The Pacte law has established a specific and innovative regulatory framework for digital assets. It defined categories of services that may be licenced by the AMF (Autorité des marchés financiers) on an optional basis, the first four of which are required to comply with a registration procedure.

The services:
1- the custody of digital assets on behalf of a client,
2- the service of buying or selling digital assets for legal tender,
3- trading of digital assets against other digital assets,
4- the operation of a trading platform for digital assets,
5- other services on digital assets, such as the reception and transmission of orders for digital assets, the management of digital asset portfolios, advice to investors in digital assets, digital asset underwriting, the guaranteed placement of digital assets, the non-guaranteed placement of digital assets.

Paymium has been registered as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) since March 2021 under no. E2021-011.

An e-money account is an account on which you can have online funds (Euros for example).
At Paymium, bank details (IBAN) are associated with it in order to be able to deposit and withdraw Euros.

Each Paymium user has his own e-money account in order to use our services.

OUTLOOK
Once you are logged into your Outlook account, click on "Settings" and on "View all Outlook settings" if needed.

Then click on "Email" and on "Junk email". Finally, go to "Safe senders and domains", add and save these 3 email addresses:

Once you are logged into your Gmail account, please click on the "Settings" link in the top right corner of the screen.

Once in the settings, please go to the “Filters and blocked addresses” tab:

Enter a title for your filter. In the "From" section, select "contains" then save these 3 email addresses:

Your Euro funds are kept by our banking partner.

Your crypto-currencies are kept by Paymium.

If Paymium were to stop its activities, an administrator would take care of the management of the customers' funds.
Concerning your euros, you are insured up to €100,000 by the Deposit Guarantee and Resolution Fund (FDGR).

The order book contains all active buy and sell orders in real time.

It is made up of two important elements:
- Bid corresponds to buy orders. For example, on a BTC/EUR market, the Bid column represents all clients who have Euros and want to buy BTC.
- Ask corresponds to sell orders. For example, in a BTC/EUR market, the Ask column represents all customers who have BTC and want to sell them for Euros.

It enables a client to view  the amount of orders in the order book and position himself in comparison with other buyers and sellers.

You can cancel your transfer as long as you have not clicked on the confirmation link.

Two-factor authentication (2FA) is an additional security measure.

An example of a commonly used 2FA is Google Authenticator. You can also use a Yubikey on Paymium.

Google Authenticator
Google Authenticator is an application to be installed on your smartphone that generates new codes at regular intervals.
The codes are 6 digits and are to be filled in after entering your email address and password.
We strongly recommend installing it on Paymium and your mailbox to maximise the security of your accounts.

You will need to download the application and follow various steps. You will find all the details by following this link.

To activate it on Paymium, please log in to your account and go to your profile to the "Security" tab.
Please click on "Activate" and then scan the QR Code on the screen or enter the code manually (you will find it under the QR Code).

Once your 2FA is recognised, please enter the 6-digit code found on your application and click on "Validate" to confirm the installation.

Please send the following documents:

- A handwritten and signed statement from the person hosting your company, stating that it is indeed hosted there,
- A scan of the front and back identity document of the person hosting your company,
- A scan of the proof of residence of the person hosting your company that is less than 3 months old.

Here are the requirements for the proof of residence:

- The document must be less than 3 months old,
- The document must be :
- a bill (water, energy, landline, mobile or internet supplier) in the name of your host and less than 3 months old,
- the latest tax notices,
- a statement or invoice from the housing insurance company,
- a rent receipt (from a social organisation or estate agency),
- a proof of council tax,
- a statement from the Caf (Caisse d'allocations familiales) mentioning the aid related to the accommodation.

Please log in to your account and go to the drop-down menu. Click on "History", then on "Export".
Select the desired period and then click on "Send by email".

You will receive a CSV file that can be converted into different formats (Excel and others).

There may be several reasons for this problem, please make sure that:

- Paymium services are available in your country. Please check by clicking on this link (temporarily unavailable),

- you have an up-to-date mobile phone (with a personal number) or computer with a camera,

- you have received and clicked on the confirmation email. Please check your spam if necessary.

Railsr, based in London (UK), is our banking partner.

Due to Brexit, its subsidiary UAB Payrnet, based in Lithuania, holds the e-money institution licence for the European market.
As a regulated EMI, UAB Payrnet relies on an escrow bank with a segregated account : the Bank of Lithuania (European Union).

This is why your e-money account is located in Lithuania (European Union).

The spread is the difference between the bid price and the ask price.

Generally, if the spread is low (close to 0), you will be able to trade faster at the best price.
However, if the spread is high, you will have to wait a while before you can trade at the best price.

Our compliance department may request information on the origin/destination of your crypto-currencies in order to meet regulatory requirements and to comply with European legislation.

This request is part of the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML-CFT) provisions to which Paymium is subject as a DASP  (Digital Assets Service Provider) registered with the AMF.

For individual accounts
Please send us the document by email to [email protected] from the email address attached to your Paymium account.

For business accounts
You can attach your documents directly from your account to verify it, renew your identity document and your proof of residence.
For any other document to be sent, please send it by email to [email protected] from the email address attached to your Paymium account.

In this case, we have to perform a manual action on our side in order to credit your deposit.

The liquidity of a platform is the ease with which a user can buy or sell an asset (Bitcoin or other) at the best price.
The depth of market provides information about the liquidity of the platform. It describes in real time the orders waiting to be executed.

If you are unable to log in to your account

All crypto-currency transactions are irreversible and therefore irrevocable.
Please contact the service where the funds were sent so that they can try to recover them.

Following Paymium's registration as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) with the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers), we are obliged to implement a second identity verification measure.

On Paymium, a wire deposit  is required from a bank account in your first and last name.


How do I credit my Paymium account in Euros?

In order to meet the requirements of the regulators and to comply with European legislation, we are obliged to ask you for personal information.
This request falls within the scope of the anti-money laundering and combating the financing of terrorism (AML/CFT) provisions.

In order to be rewarded, share your referral link or code by going to the page.

Your account must be approved in order to receive your rewards.
As a referrer, you will receive 30% of the trading commissions generated by your referral for a period of 6 months.

A stop loss order is an order to close a position when the price of an asset reaches the price level set by the investor.
The price set by the investor must be lower than the last price.
The stop loss order protects the investor because if the asset reaches this price, a market order is executed.
However, since it is a market order that is executed, this means that the order can be executed at a lower price than the one that was set.

The stop loss functionality is not yet available on Paymium.

We invite you to make a bank transfer.

To do so, please log in to your Paymium account, click on "Deposit or Withdraw" then on "Euro". You will then be able to generate (if not already done) and see your personal Paymium IBAN.
As recipient of your transfer, please enter your first and last name.
Your funds must come from a personal bank account with your first and last name.
Joint accounts can be used but a proof of bank information with the names visible may be requested.

Transfers can take up to 72 working hours to be credited to Paymium accounts. This is due to the banking system.

A stop limit order is a buy or sell limit order that is executed when the trigger level defined by the investor is reached.
The investor must determine a stop price (trigger level) and a limit price in advance. The limit price must be less than or equal to the stop price.
If the price of the asset reaches the defined stop price, a limit order will be executed.

The stop limit order is a means of protection for the investor, as it enables him not to sell at a price lower than the defined one.
However, the order may not be executed (even if the stop price has been reached) because the limit order threshold was never reached.

The stop limit functionality is not yet available on Paymium.

In most cases, synchronising your Google Authenticator application will solve this problem.

If you are on Android
Please go to your Google Authenticator application and then to your settings on the top right of your screen.
Please click on "Time correction for codes", then "Synchronize". Then try again to enter your Google Authenticator code on Paymium.

If you are on iOS
Please go to your phone settings, select "General" and then "Date and Time". In this section, please click on "set automatically".
If it is already selected, deactivate it and then reactivate it. Then please try again to enter your Google Authenticator code on Paymium.

From a computer, please log in to your account and click on "Deposit or Withdraw", then on "Euro".
For security reasons, you will have to register a bank account statement with your name and IBAN visible.
It will then be checked by our teams.

An up-to-date ID is required to access all our services.

There are 2 possibilities:

1- Your individual Paymium IBAN is not yet created.
Please generate your IBAN by clicking on "Generate your personal IBAN" and wait 1 to 2 minutes.
Then refresh the page so that your personal IBAN appears.
If you have any difficulty generating it, please contact us by ticket following this link.

2- Your individual Paymium IBAN is already created. You will be able to see it.

No, you can only register bank details for one account.

A YubiKey is a physical device with a USB tip that plugs into your computer. It can have several functions including generating a secure code.
A code is generated each time you press the button.

The YubiKey provides two-factor authentication.

Yes, it is possible to make an instant transfer.

Depending on the amount and compliance checks, it may take a few minutes to a few hours for your transfer to be credited.

2- Place a limit order

From a computer
, please log in to your Paymium account and click on "Trade (expert mode)" and "Buy".
Then click on "Limit Order" and fill in the amount of bitcoins you want to buy. You will then see an estimate of the maximum price at which you want to buy your bitcoins and the amount you want to trade in Euros.
Please fill in the price of your choice. Then swipe to confirm the order and click "Are you sure?" to confirm your purchase.

From the mobile application, please log in to your account and once on the home page, click on "Buy".
Enter the amount in Euros and check "Price limit per bitcoin".
Then, enter the limit per bitcoin of your choice and you will be given an estimated amount of bitcoins. Finally, click on "Buy".

You can have only one Paymium account for yourself and one account for each legal entity (corporate).

For example, you can have both a personal Paymium account and an account for each of the companies you own.

Your Paymium customer account number starts with PM or BC.
Please log in to your account and click on "Profile" at the top right of your screen. Your customer number will be displayed with your other personal information.

A classic transfer can take up to 72 hours before being credited to your Paymium account. This is due to the banking system.

An instant transfer can take from a few minutes to a few hours depending on the amount and compliance checks.

Then click on "Limit Order" and fill in the minimum price at which you want to sell your bitcoins and the Euros you want to exchange.
Swipe to confirm the order and click on "Are you sure?" to confirm your sale.

From the mobile app., please log in to your account and once on the homepage, click on "Sell".
Enter the amount in bitcoins and check "Price limit per bitcoin".
Then, enter the bitcoin limit of your choice and you will be given an estimated amount in Euros. Finally, click on "Sell".

Please log in to your Paymium account and go to the drop down menu, then select "Profile" and "Security".
Finally, please plug your YubiKey in the USB port of your computer and activate your YubiKey at the bottom of the page.

Some banks may refuse to make transfers to crypto-currency related companies.

We invite you to ask them for an explanation for the refusal and to specify that Paymium is registered as a Digital Asset Service Provider (DASP) with the AMF (Autorité des Marchés Financiers) under no. E2021-011.

You can also tell them that you have a Paymium e-money account in your first and last name, where your Euros are kept.

In addition, some banks accept that you sign a waiver concerning the investment in crypto-currencies. We invite you to ask your bank for more information.

If your bank still does not make your transfer, we invite you to credit your Paymium account from another bank account.

There are several reasons for this problem, please ensure that:

How to encrypt your communications with Mac ?

We strongly recommend encryption of your communications in order to guarantee their authenticity, integrity and confidentiality.

To encrypt your documents on a Mac, you first have to install PGP Suite. You will find the software by following this link.

Once downloaded, click on "Install" to start the installation.

After accepting the terms of use, we recommend that you customize your installation by clicking on "Customize" and unchecking the various "GPG Mail" tabs.

Once installed, you can generate a new key pair. To do so, please click on "New".

It will be necessary to fill in the name, the email address linked to your Paymium account and the password.

We recommend a password of more than 8 characters including upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters ($, &, -, !, %, etc.). Please save your password in an offlinelocation that only you will have access to. You will not be able to retrieve your password if you lose it.

Please click on "Generate Key" to generate your key pair.

After that, you will have to search for the public key of [email protected] To do this, please click on "Key search".

We recommend a passphrase of more than 8 characters including upper and lower case letters, numbers and special characters ($, &, -, !, %, etc.). Please save your passphrase in an offline location that only you will have access to. You will not be able to retrieve it otherwise.

Your key pair has been successfully created. There are several options for saving your key pair. Please click on "Finish".

It will also be proposed to protect the document with a password shared with Paymium. It is not necessary to protect it, otherwise we will need the password to open the document.

A Recurring Buy Plan (RBP) also known as DCA (Dollar-Cost Averaging) enables you to automatically purchase crypto-currencies at the frequency of your choice (daily, weekly or monthly).

Your trading account must be credited with Euros in order for the purchase to be executed.

To set up a RBP, please click on "Setup DCA" and choose the crypto-currency of your choice. Fill in the quantity and frequency, then swipe the "Launch your RBP"
button.

If your Paymium account is not credited with Euros, your RBP will be stopped.
Once your account is refilled, your RBP will automatically be functional again.

As for crypto-currencies, our compliance department may request information on the origin of your Euros in order to meet the requirements of the regulators and to comply with European legislation.

This request falls within the scope of the anti-money laundering and counter-terrorism financing (AML/CTF) provisions.
